2004 dodge srt-4 extended warranty or not?

im debating on extending the warranty on my 2004 dodge srt-4. its got 49k miles and hasnt really had any major problems. the warranty is bumper to bumper final cost being about 3 grand at us auto warranty. im wondering what people think and how srt-4 hold up as there start gettting older

    I’m usually weary of 3rd party warranty companies. Yes, some have been around for a long time and have a reputation to uphold but others are fly-by-night operations. I’d usually recommend sticking with a manufacturer’s extended warranty but in the case of Chrysler, even that may be a little risky ( in reference to the current financial troubles of the Big 3 automakers ).
