Acer Warranty Coverage?

I was wondering what is covered under the Acer warranty–I accidentally spilled water on the keyboard of my Aspire One Netbook (1/2 cup?). I let it dry and it seems to work fine, but the audio jack doesn’t work properly. Does the regular warranty cover accidental water damage? Do you suggest I pay for an extended warranty? Thank you.

    the warranty doesn’t usually cover accidental water damage unless you’ve bought it with the computer. not sure if you’d be able to buy it after the netbook has already been in use.

    Depends on what warranty you purchased at check-out. The standard manufacturer’s warranty does not cover accidental damage.
