extended warranty on classic range rover?
->
I am looking into buying a classic Range Rover and am also wondering about extended warranties. I have done some research on rangerovers.net and they recogmended two warranty companies: auto advantage inc and warranties 4 wheels. I am just wondering if anyone has had experience with these companies and whether the services they offer are worth the money. I believe a 3 year, bumper to bumper unlimited warranty costs around 1,000$.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've recently gotten quotes from the broker referenced on rangerovers.net
I am satisfied with the quote, but I do have questions about their viability (will they be here in 4 years…).
I would search the Better Business Bureau for EACH and check out their ratings.
Good luck. You've made a wise decision to consider the warranty – and enjoy paying less for your repairs – by paying upfront.

Keep 2 things in mind.. One is you need to get it inspected as part of the warranty once you buy the contract. They might charge 99 to have an inspector confirm no prior issues on top of the contract. Also, check the deductable in the contract. Sometimes its 0 other its 100. It could be 100 for each visit to the repair shop or each issue. so if you have 10 problems, you might have 100 for each issue… See if you could get the 0 deductable and how much extra that costs. Also make sure you know what the claim process is prior to buying. Lastly, check the list of covered parts on each contract to make sure that key items are covered by warranty, not some stingy list of a few major components and missing other key ones. Also make sure the warranty covers breakdown and overheating… Otherwise extendeded warranty sounds like a good choice.
