How extensive is my Dell laptop warranty service?
According to Dell.com, I have two warranty services that last until 141 days.
Limited Technical Support from DELL
and
Next Business Day, Includes Nights/Weekends from QLX…
My computer is pretty banged up from what I believe is Dell laptops fragility. The headphone jack is completely broken, and I can’t hear sound without headphones, and even then with headphones it is complicated. A key came off of the keyboard on my laptop. The framing of the computer is coming apart. Also, my laptop’s screen can’t stay upright unless it is propped up, or else it flops down, broken.
Also the battery is burnt out and my computer is purely powered by my AC adapter. If ever my AC adapter is plucked out of my computer, or if it is unplugged, my computer shuts down. Although, I don’t think they can be held responsible for the battery(those things are always burning out).
However, I’m wondering if all these problems are covered by those warranties mentioned above…Thanks.
Now that I think about, I may have been abusive to my good ol’ Sammy. That’s what I named my laptop (jk).
But I do think that my headphone jack being broken is a result of Dell’s bad design of this laptop, and its natural fragility. I think they should at least cover that.

Any computer should be treated with extreme care as it has many delicate parts inside it.
From your description of your problems, it honestly seems you have been handling the laptop carelessly. I am sure Dell will have the same opinion but you should be okay with your warranty.
Best advice I can give is to be as careful with carrying your laptop around as you would if carrying any fragile item

As a result of the damaged that was caused by neglect, the manufacturers warranty will be voided.

They won’t cover any of it if they determine that it was accidental damage

Batteries are only covered for a year… As for the rest call Dell to find out what is or isn’t covered !

You might be able to get a new top cover/or hinges for the floppy screen. The head set jack is integrated into the board. Check to see if the battery was part of the recall they had. if it is they will send you a new one. You can get accidental coverage from Dell and you might be able to upgrade it also. Just call and ask.
