Is fords extended warranty worth it?

Just ordered a 2010 SVT Raptor. They are trying to get me to buy the extended premium warranty. I was told by my uncles friend that it isnt worth it stick with the warranty it comes with. He said if anything goes wrong itll be in that time frame and the extended is a waste of money. Was wondering if this was true.

    IMO extended warranties are a big rip off. You will very seldom have enough warranted problems to offset the cost. Just keep up a regular maintenance program on your new vehicle and the odds of something malfunctioning becomes practically nil.

    I usually say policies arent worth it on the other hand for a lot of people it is, especially if your car is not reliable. They are almost necessary if you dont have extra money to pay for for breakdowns.

    Never buy the extended warranty or the undercoating/rustproofing
    They are the single biggest makers of money for dealership next to the service bays.
    Biggest rip-off out there.
