lost receipt for digital camera, but i still have box. is there still warranty?

i bought a camera in april which has one year warranty and i lost the reciept for it. but i have the box and everything. right now the lens are broken. can i go get it repaired

    Call the cameras help line, they will have a record of your on line registration and will give you a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number and you can ship it to them.

    If the lens has been damaged, it may not be covered by the warranty in any case. Damage is not covered, only failure do to problems in manufacturing.
