need trans mission repaired does extended warranty work?

I have a 1989 delta 88 the trans mission needs repairing I need to know if there is a extented warranty that works I can apply for to get it fixed

    You can’t buy an extended warranty now that the car is 10 years old.

    Not if it already need to be repaired. It has to be in good working order before they’ll approve your for a warranty.

    your out of luck, that car is too old and they wouldn’t sell you a warranty with a blown tranny anyway.

    For some folks the extended warranties arent worth it but for me it is. I would have been really in a hard situation without it a couple times with my car when I didnt have the money to pay outright. I was really happy I had the extended warranty.
