Rock Band Extended Warranty?

I just bought Rock Band last night from Gamestop and I asked for an extended warranty. They told me that they didn't have one but EA would cover any problems. Well the EA warranty only covers for 60 days. Does anyone know how I can get an extended warranty from Harmonix or EA. If not should I return it and buy it from someone who offers an extended warranty.

    That's why I bought it from Best Buy. I got a 2 year plan for $30.

    Not sure if there's anything that you can do now since you've already bought it.

    Check with insurance companies to see if they insure items like this? :)

    you dont need an extended warranty. My friend had it for like 3 months now and it is like new

    if you dont feel like fixing your rock band gear your self (which you can do- there are step by step guides in this months Game Informer) then i would recomend returning it and getting it at best buy or somewhere else that has an extended warranty
