I would contact your states Attorney Generals office and see if this is something that has happened to others. Even if it has not happened to others, if you have proof of a warranty (*all* the papers, and signatures and money paid) then you may have some legal recourse against the warranty company. Make sure, however, that there was not any caveat the warranty company required you to do in order to activate your warranty for the full three years. Also check with the Better Business Bureau and see what help/resources they might provide

Well, sounds bad…I would contact the nearest same brand dealer and raise hell. Get them to honor the contract that you have in hand by being extremely vocal in your complaint. Threaten them with legal action against the manufacturer and contact the B.B.B in regards to this situation. It sounds like you have a very valid reason to be upset!

I've always purchased an extended auto warranty for every car I've owned in the last 8 years. In the beginning I used to get them from the dealer, but I've found it's less expensive to get them from a auto warranty company. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-Warranty.html They offer free quotes, so it can't hurt to see how much one would cost for your automobile.
