What is a warranty and service for a laptop?

Okay so I’m on Dell.com and I found this laptop Inspiron Mini 10v that I want to get and it asked for a warranty and service plan but I have no idea which one to get nor which one is better. Here are the choices..

1 Yr Ltd Warranty and Mail-In Service [Included in Price]
1 Yr Ltd Hardware Warranty, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis [add $19]
2 Yr Ltd Hardware Warranty, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis [add $59] + Advanced Service Plans
1 yr In-home Service after remote diagnosis + Complete Care [add $88] DELL RECOMMENDED
2 yr In-home Service after remote diagnosis + Complete Care [add $128]

And I know that the forth one is recommended but I don’t wanna spend unnecessary money if not needed. The laptop is org. $299 but so far it’s gone up to $339 ’cause I wanted it in pretty pink. Thanxx!! (=
