Where can I buy warranties?

Is there any place where I can buy warranties for items? Some stores offer them, like a "Pay $5, and we’ll give you a warranty for your product for a year!" Keep in mind that these items aren’t that valuable.

    The extended warranties that stores offer are overpriced. I never buy them. They offer them and push them because their a high profit item for the store. If the item you want the warranty on is only a few days old, contact the store you bought it from and ask if you can still buy the extended warranty. If you can’t don’t worry about it. Don’t buy from some web site. Those are scams.
