I bought an extended warranty for a 3 year old car. It seemed like a good deal and it looked like they cover everything. What I did not realize is that parts/labor are only covered if they FAIL. Let that sink in for a minute. My starter went, leaving me stranded. I had the vehicle towed to the repair shop. They confirmed that the starter needed to be replaced even though after firing it about a hundred times they did get it to catch. The warranty company refused to cover it because it did not FAIL. It was simply wearing out. Never again! They are handy if you dont have cash to shell out for breakdowns.
